As any software platform your first login may be a very scary and confusing experience. This article will hopefully alleviate the first time user jitters and help you jump right into your deal flow.
At your first login to Gust you as a member of a group will be directed to your HOME tab. The HOME tab contains all your personal settings as a user of Gust.
Under the HOME tab you will see additional tabs that you can access to setup and personalize your settings within Gust. (DASHBOARD, MY ACCOUNT, MY PROFILE and EMAIL PREFERENCES)
The DASHBOARD contains all your upcoming events for all the GROUPS you are associated with on Gust. It also contains all the deals that you have set a personal interest to, so you can actively follow your deals easily. The MY ACCOUNT tab allows you to change your login/username and password. The MY PROFILE page is where you can customize and edit your profile on Gust. Only the members of the GROUPS you are apart of on Gust will have access to this information. Lastly, EMAIL PREFERENCES is where you can setup your push notifications by turning on or off the notifications that Gust pushes to your email.
Once you have setup your profile and are ready to start surfing your deal flow just click the GROUP TAB at the top of the screen. The GROUP TAB should contain your group name you have access to. If you have access to multiple groups on Gust then the last group you were working in before logging off will be present.
You'll notice that once you click on the GROUP tab you will be transported to the GROUP's deal flow and that the GROUP tab has now become highlighted in white.
You will notice a new set of tabs and features. These features are for the group's functionality and deal flow management. The deal list page contains four main sections that will allow you to get started on access and reviewing your deals:
1. SEARCH - You can search for a specific deal by typing in a name or portion of the name of the deal.
2. Deal Stages - Are setup by the group and allow you to filter through deals that are in a particular stage.
3. Deal Labels - Is a customizable feature for groups to create their own set of labels for additional filtering.
4. Deal List - The deal list lists for the group or specific filter along with additional information about the deals.
Try clicking on a deal stage and/or label to update the deal list. You are now ready to filter and sort for deals.
