The documents tabs are made for the investors to store specific documents for their investing group, specific deals and subgroups. There is one main document board for the group. Any documents posted there will be visible to all of your members of your investing group.

As you can see this image above shows the group document board. The way to tell is that the heading name under the group tab displays the same name as the tab itself. This is done on purpose so that as a user you know exactly what document board you are looking at.

The document tab for the group is good to store templates, meeting notes, standard operating procedures and general information that members will need on a daily basis. All members can upload, download, create folders and move documents to and from folders. In addition to those features Admins of the group are able to rename and delete documents. Please note that any document you upload to this section cannot be greater than 75 MB.

Above you can see that this document tab is for a specific deal. The name under the group tab has changed to the name of the deal with all the deal labels associated with the deal. All the dame functionality exist in this document tab for a deal. However, the only members that can access this document tab are the members who have access to this specific deal. The Admins and Deal Leads of this particular deal will be able to perform all the GOLD functions for this document tab.

Copy Folder Structure - Allows you to copy the same folder structure for all deals by copying all folders from a deal.

When navigating through the documents and folders you can always go back by clicking on the previous folder that is highlighted in blue. Above you can see that you are inside the Financials folder which is located within Legal Docs that resides within All Documents. If you would like to go back to the Legal Docs folder you can just click the blue Legal Docs. If you would like to go back to the main document page you can just click on All Documents.
