If your an entrepreneur who is new to Gust or have been advised to apply to a group via Gust then it would be beneficial to read the following. Just like any system you use today, facebook or linkedin, you are going to need to sign up for an account. With Gust you can receive a regular account for FREE. Once you are signed up and have completed your account profile, you will be ready to start searching for funding.

First thing is first, we need to make sure you have an account with Gust. So if you have received a link from an investor group and have been advised that they use Gust as their application process then you should make sure you have an active account with Gust before accessing the link or redirect to that group's application.

So to sign-up for your FREE Account go to www.gust.com and then click on "SIgn-Up" in the top right corner.

After you have clicked "Sign Up" you will see another screen that will be split between signing up as an investor or entrepreneur. Here you want to fill out your company name on the entrepreneur side.

Once you have entered your company name and hit "Create" you will then see a pop up window asking for a valid email address. This email address will be your login username for Gust. It will also be your main contact email address for any investors to reach out to you regarding your company. So make sure to use a valid email address that you check on a regular basis.

You will also notice that there is the name of your company again and a URL related to Gust. Check to make sure your company name is spelled correctly because if there are any errors you will have to restart the process after this point. The URL will be explained to you in a later tutorial.

After you click sign up in the pop up window or use your LinkedIn account to sign in, the pop up window will expand for you to enter additional information. You would then fill in the sections as needed, most should be populated if you use the LinkedIn sign in automatically.

Once you click "Create Gust Account" your company will then be created in Gust. You will see the following page as well as receive a confirmation email from Gust. The email should come from administrator@gust.com and you will have to verify your email address before you are able to proceed any further.
